The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar is in an emergency meeting with Governors elected on the platform of the party.

The meeting, which was called by Atiku, is holding at the PDP campaign headquarters, Legacy House, Maitama, Abuja.

Notice of the meeting was signed by the Director General of the PDP Governors Forum, CID Maduabum.

“The presidential candidate of PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON requests a meeting with PDP Governors” the notice by Maduabum stated.

The meeting is coming a few hours after the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Although the notice did not specify the agenda, party sources hinted that the PDP stakeholders might have called the meeting to discuss the implications of the outcome of the APC presidential primaries. Culled: The Nation.
