It was a day of joy, fun and spiritually edifying entertainment when the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of Champions Parish, Ogba, Lagos celebrated it’s Men of Valour 2022 Grand Finale on Sunday.
Preceding this, series of events were held including a lecture with the theme: ” Who should be Richer: The Man or the Woman?” and Couples Night which afforded the men an opportunity to bond with their spouses.
At the grand finale, it was heartwarming to see the men take over the praise and worship session, rendering songs to the admiration of the congregation.
Some of the highlights of the service was a stage drama by the men mirroring the importance of looking up to God for help at all times, games, presentation of gifts, networking among others.

The Special Guest, Dr. Femi Oyenuga who spoke on the topic ” Living Above Limitations” explained that to do so, , Christians must learn to live in light and trust God at all times. ” The Mantra a Christian must have is contained in Matthew 5: 14- Live in the light , you can’t know God’s word if you don’t live in the light. Matthew 6: 23 also comes in handy. We live in a precarious situation but regardless, we must rise above all odds”
On how he believes Nigeria’ll move forward, Oyenuga states that it is imperative to speak up when there are evil intentions, ” As Christians, our obidience must be total and full.

“Additionally, you have to be intentional about what you want. You have to live with a mind of Christ. Help your neighbour who is in need as you never know when God is moving, ” he said.
The epoch-making event was rounded up with Thanksgiving and prayers for the Nation, families and friends.

Some of the dignitaries at the event include Pastors Paul Adepegba/ Kayode Akinwale and their wives Pastors Bisi and Adeola respectively.
