The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Tolu Odebiyi is calling on the good people of Ogun West Senatorial District and his ardent supporters to remain calm, following the listing of the incumbent Lagos West Senator, Solomon Adeola Olamilekan as the Senatorial candidate for Ogun West Senatorial District in yesterday’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) list for the 2023 National Assembly elections.
This was made known in a statement on his Facebook page as cited by our correspondent.

Recall that an appeal to void and nullify the participation of Sen. Solomon Adeola Olamilekan (Yayi) (whose name appeared on the INEC list) in the primary election of the APC for Ogun West Senatorial District held on 28th May, 2022, while still serving as Senator representing Lagos West at the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is currently in court which is the final arbiter in this matter.

While allaying the fears of his people in Ogun State, the Senator Odebiyi urged the people to keep faith and continue to pray for a good outcome in the court of law.

The Ogun West Senator who is determined in his quest to continue to bring hope and direction to governance with uncompromising zeal, also assured the people that he would ensure that the labours of past leaders of Ogun West shall never be in vain and hopes that justice, fairness and sanity ultimately prevail in order to further strengthen the resolve of every patriotic leader in the country to fight for the future of the downtrodden not only in Ogun West but also Nigeria at large.
