Governorship Aspirant in Ogun State and veteran sports journalist, Modele Sarafa-Yusuf has alleged that her billboards are being removed in strategic places in the state under the instructions of the state helmsman, Gov.Dapo Abiodun.
Sharing photos on her Instagram handle @modele.sarafayusuf, she wrote: ” We have reports that our billboards ( properly paid for through registered agencies are being removed.This is Panseke on Wednesday and Today(Friday) “
She alleged that Ogun State Signage Agency Sources say the orders to remove are from Governor Dapo Abiodun. Citing the Electoral Act 2022 which allows campaign in accordance to laws and rules determined by INEC, Sarafa- Yusuf stated that she has requested the ad agency to replace the materials and urged the government and/or it”s agents to exercise restraints.
