A Lagos court judge has ruled that Baba Ijesha is guilty of attempted sexual assault of a minor, BBC Pidgin reports.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo of the Ikeja Sexual Offences Court passed the judgment on Thursday afternoon.
Olarenwaju James Omiyinka is guilty on four counts of attempted sexual assault of underaged person.
Prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt one count charge, the court said.
However, it found the Nollywood actor guilty of four out of the six charges against him.
Baba Ijesha is a popular Nigerian film actor who acts Yoruba movies.
Lagos State Government lawyers alias prosecutors dragged him to court on alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old.
The victim”s the adopted daughter of one Nigerian comedienne.
