The Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State says 9 persons were involved in a fatal crash which occurred on Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ogere axis on Monday.
Comfirming the incident to Galaxy TV News, the public education officer, Route commander Florence Okpe said 02 vehicles were involved, leaving 5 persons injured, while 4 other persons died from the crash.
She said the suspected cause of the crash was excessive speed which led to loss of control on the part of the sienna bus that collided with the truck when the truck driver was trying to reverse
The public education officer advised motorists to use common sense speed limit especially during rainy season when visibility is poor, and if one can not drive with the rain , is advisable to park in a safe place and wait for safety purpose.
